Andrew Ross is a senior attorney at Varner & Brandt where he primarily handles employment litigation. He has defended and settled numerous wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, and excessive executive compensation cases. As a member of Varner & Brandt’s litigation team, Andrew’s interest in unique legal issues has involved him in a wide variety of other legal matters in both State and Federal court, including defending Proposition 65 claims, prosecution of eminent domain actions, defending disability access claims, obtaining injunctive relief barring solicitors from private retail property, and defending business clients against collection claims by both banks and private creditors. His breadth of experience in different legal areas provides him with a unique legal perspective.

His past experience as insurance defense counsel helps Andrew work with clients to not only resolve their current problem as efficiently as possible, but also allows him to advise as to best practices to avoid future legal problems.
Andrew’s twin passions outside work are education and animals rights. He is currently President of the School Board of All Saints’ Carden Academy in Riverside and is involved with the Animal Legal Defense Fund.
