VARNER & BRANDT LLP NAMES FOUR NEW PARTNERS
(RIVERSIDE, CA) April 14, 2008 - Varner & Brandt LLP, a leading Inland Southern California law firm, is pleased to announce the election of four attorneys to partner. Daniel A. Reed, Linda Gladson, David J. Porras and were named partners in January 2007 and Keith A. The new partners are:
DANIEL A. REED, who joined the firm in March 2001, was named a partner in the firm’s Civil Litigation Department. He has represented individuals, public and private entitiesincluding both small and large corporations and businesses, counties, cities, flood control districts, school districts and police departments in matters ranging from bodily injury claims to wrongful discharge.
LINDA J. GLADSON, who joined the firm in 2001, was named a partner in the firm’sEstate Planning and Probate Department. Her practice areas include estate planning,probate, elder law, conservatorship and guardianships.
DAVID J. PORRAS, who joined the firm in September 1999, was named a partner in the firm’s Civil Litigation Department. His practice areas include personal injury defense, public entity defense, self-insured entity defense, insurance coverage defense, product liability defense and worker’s compensation defense with civil trial experience in each area.
KEITH A. KELLY, who joined the firm in 1999 as a law clerk and became an attorney in 2002, was named a partner in the firm’s Civil Litigation Department. His practice areasinclude federal and state civil litigation, business and real estate litigation, employment law and complex litigation including class actions, unfair business practices, civil rights litigation and appeals. Mr. Kelly also handles appeals.
